Kanji Bhai (Paresh Rawal), a middle-class Hindu atheist runs a shop in Chor Bazaar, Mumbai, which sells Hindu idols and statues along with his friend and neighbour, Mahadev. Married to a very devout wife, Susheela, and a father of two (a boy and a girl), Kanji is a hardcore non-believer and routinely indulges in activities such as tricking customers into paying huge sums of money for his statues under false pretenses, and drinking alcohol while on pilgrimage. He also disrupts a local festival in order to get his son away from the celebration. The Hindu priest presiding over the function, Siddheshwar Maharaj, shouts at him and says that "God will curse you". That night a small earthquake occurs in Mumbai, but there are no damages at all to property or life .

Synopsis - An “out of this world” fantasy about an NRI who returns home to discover that his village has dropped off the map of India. To put it back on the world’s radar he must now forge an unlikely alliance of crazy villagers & aliens that will turn him and his village into the biggest “tamasha” the universe has ever seen!Agastya (Akshay Kumar) a hardworking scientist from Paglapur, India lives in U.S. with his girlfriend Diva(Sonakshi), is working on a machine which can be used to connect with the aliens. One day he get a call from his home that his father is not keeping well and is in last stage. He decide to visit his father and Diva accompanies him.Paglapur, filled with mentally ill poeple does not even exists in the map of world and hence is facing many problems like no electricity and water. Agastya decides to help his native.He spread rumors of existence of aliens and their visit to Paglapur. Paglapur gets media attention and get all the basic needs. But he get caught of this fraud and thus the police comes to arrest him.Meanwhile the original aliens shows up and he is released from police custody.

Naidu (Nagineedu) marries Suhasini, who already has a son named Venkataratnam Naidu (Pawan Kalyan). Venkata Ratnam Naidu likes the character of Gabbar Singh from Sholay and is fond of being called so. He becomes a police officer. He is posted to his hometown Kondaveedu a village in Guntur District, which is facing many troubles from Siddhappa Naidu (Abhimanyu Singh), who is a upcoming political leader.While Gabbar Singh starts confronting Siddhappa, he comes across Bhagyalakshmi (Shruti Haasan) and loses his heart to her. Later, things get murky as several emotions come to the fore like jealousy, hatred and greed. Will Gabbar Singh crush the atrocities with an soft and smooth hand being a police officer?
