Synopsis - An “out of this world” fantasy about an NRI who returns home to discover that his village has dropped off the map of India. To put it back on the world’s radar he must now forge an unlikely alliance of crazy villagers & aliens that will turn him and his village into the biggest “tamasha” the universe has ever seen!Agastya (Akshay Kumar) a hardworking scientist from Paglapur, India lives in U.S. with his girlfriend Diva(Sonakshi), is working on a machine which can be used to connect with the aliens. One day he get a call from his home that his father is not keeping well and is in last stage. He decide to visit his father and Diva accompanies him.Paglapur, filled with mentally ill poeple does not even exists in the map of world and hence is facing many problems like no electricity and water. Agastya decides to help his native.He spread rumors of existence of aliens and their visit to Paglapur. Paglapur gets media attention and get all the basic needs. But he get caught of this fraud and thus the police comes to arrest him.Meanwhile the original aliens shows up and he is released from police custody.

Vijay (Jr. NTR) is an orphan who leads a simple life along with his friend (played by Ali). He falls in love with Sathya (Trisha Krishnan), who is a very rich girl. Sathya imposes a condition that Vijay’s family history and pedigree are very important. At this very moment, Vijay comes to know that a rich and powerful royal family is on the lookout to adopt a heir and Vijay seizes the chance. But once he goes there, he realizes that things are not as simple as they seem. The family has a violent past and a bitter dispute with another powerful family (headed by Nassar). He also realizes that thousands of people in the area are now dependent on him for their very survival.He also discovers that he is the 'Chinaraja' the real heir of the family. Vijay does not like violence and he tries his best to solve the problems peacefully. But the rival gang does not give him a chance. Vexed with the violence Vijay kills Nasser's two sons and opens eyes of Nasser by placing a sword on Nasser's third son.

Venkat (Prabhas) and Sailaja (Trisha) are youngsters at Warangal who fall in love. Bhadranna (Gopichand) is the most dreaded and ruthless landlord in Nizam area. Bhadranna also likes Sailaja and wants to marry her. Ranga Rao (Prakash Raj), Sailaja's dad, is a typical black sheep having all kinds of bad habits. In the process, he is ready to marry off his daughter to Bhadranna for money. Ranga Rao plants certain ego problems in the minds of Venkat and Sailaja and then paves a way for their love to break up. Later on Bhadranna kidnaps Sailaja. The rest of the story is all about how Venkat brings back Sailaja from the bastion of Bhadranna and how he clears off the misunderstanding with Sailaja in the process.
